‘Mackerel Sky’ provides a stunning base from which to explore the striking beauty and rich history of this part of Cornwall, being equidistant from the Lizard and Land’s End. Long sandy beaches, offering a range of watersports, and picturesque hidden coves are within walking distance or, further afield, easily reached by car. St Ives, is a fifteen minute drive; Penzance is a five minute drive. Newlyn and Mousehole are also within easy reach to the west with Perranuthnoe, Praa Sands and Porthleven nearby to the east.
